1020 - Radio Trinchera

Post by simbeav » 02 Dec 2019 23:05

One I've been trying to ID for ages. I get a signal regularly, but no sign of an ID due to KDKA.

Finally got an ID today at 04:58'54 followed by Cuban national anthem

A badly splattered frequency but I hear something there. KDKA appears more frequently. I guess Trinchera is the one moving slightly between .9997-.0002.

MW has been largely disappointing in the last week. Some signs of the Prairies again this morning but difficult to catch anything for long. Asia is not so good but the regular Japanese stations are still popping up briefly.

Conditions often suggest things should be better.

Yes. That's the offset. It was extreme luck to get an ID when it peaked and KDKA was low.

Regular Japanese

Sorry if that came across on the arrogant side Simon. :) Being on the east coast gives me enhancements over to the far east. Coastal locations have advantages, but not to everywhere. You have better enhancements to South America than I do. We've all got pros and cons based on our location.
