Durris! It's over coastal land and sea path. Fort William is beaming up and down the Caledonian valley and has got the odd Ben in the way :D

Excellent!
Thanks

Wierdly no sign of Northsound yet

The other mystery from overnight was someone relaying Radio 5 on 94.5 which was either radio ulster from divis or one of 2 radio Scotland relays, neither of which seem likely

A weak radio Scotland popped up on 92.9 skriag?

Here’s the Norwegian consulate with a residual 6 element FM beaming at Norway

If they hadn’t turned FM off I’d probably be logging Norway

It would be fairly long haul reception.
Just did measure distance on Google Maps and somewhere around
614km / 381 miles to the nearest area of Norway

Wonder what were the most likely frequencies / transmitter(s) they (consulate building with Yagi) would have received and typically what % time availability had they listenable reception over say 12 months

Bandscan is online now, nothing very exciting
Not surprised given the weather
Maximum distance was 282km Holme Moss

I had Radio 5 overnight on 94.5, I’ve decided Radio Ulster is more likely than the low power radio Scotland relays in the highlands

I’m trying for Ben Gulipen 104.9 from home after seeing how well it gets out and how distinctive it is
I hadn’t considered this tx before now.

I do have an unid on 104.9 here mixing with the 2 semi local pests, Radio Leicester and Imagine FM
