Broken North Korean transmitter 3990v kHz

Usually it "carries" 50 HZ humming + distorted KCBS Pyongyang but sometimes only the Humming.

9435 the announcers microphones sound very distorted at times... RXing 9435 right now at 14:23 UTC.... 3990 is what transmitter because 9435 is coming out of Kujang Transmitter, and the best way I can describe the announcers microphone is a sort of Collins amateur radio mic, Very hollow in sound it almost sounds like the studio has some audio issues...


I wonder if their Transmitter for 3990 and 9435 are the same
