My new $5 wonder antenna
My new $5 wonder antenna
There is a PCB balun/combiner inside the black box.
It is intended for VHF/UHF TV (It works well) but also works on FM. No Es today to test it fully.
I have local DVB-T, but I don't have an HD rx, and most stations are HD. There are a couple of SD DVB-T TV stns and a couple of radio stns // to FM.

I meant the digital TV channels here are HD. I don't have the hardware for reception so not sure which standard. Maybe DVB-T2.Julian Hardstone wrote: ↑17 Apr 2017 13:22HD, Peter? Like in the USA, digital radio in Band II?
Funny little ae btw![]()
The radio stns are normal UHF DVB-T, just like freeview in the UK.
The Aerial's performance was a bit of a surprise on FM, it was at the only local shop I have found with aerials. I was looking for an FM aerial, and as this one is wideband with just one output I assumed (correctly) it would work on FM.

With you now Peter. I don't do TV, but from what I've read on forums only a few of the available HD TVs are what you could reasonably call High Definition, free from movement artefacts
