Nice - I haven't had a QSL card for about 20 years !
I've been clearing out and looking at some of my old ones. Brings back memories.

TRT is still a very quick and reliable confirmer, also regarding Sporadic-E reception of their different FM channels abroad.

Good Luck in obtaining any QSL card. RTé is very fast and reliable, they did in fact also verify my FM logs via sporadic-E reception back in 2005. However, I failed in achieving any QSL from Algeria / Morocco & Tunesia. I never succeeded in any answer either via email or postal address. The only way in getting in touch is to contact them and get a reply via Facebook.

Its incorrect to say the Sunday morning religious services are exclusive to RTE R1 LW, they are also carried on the the digital radio channel RTE radio 1-EXTRA, which is on RTE's DAB service (albeit limited in coverage), and nationwide on Digital terrestrial TV and online:

Yes that is true. ;)

But this is already written on the site which I posted ("/services").
In addition, Jorge only asked for Longwave 252 kHz, not for VHF-III.
Furthermore, nobody in continental Europe is able to receive Irish DAB, not even during strong tropo.

And who would send a reception report for a church service on DAB?
It might look like that:

"
Goo....[signal drop out]....ning....[signal drop out]...
came here to...[signal drop out]...
....us Christ, the Lord...[signal drop out]...
...holy Spir....[signal drop out]
...[more signal drop outs]
Amen."

DAB is a nice playtoy for a fistful of radiofreaks like us, but it is not interesting for most of the "normal people" on continental europe. This is different in the UK+Malta, but so much is different there because of it is an Island.
Even Darwin knew that development on islands is quicker and more effective than on the mainland. 8-)
