Hello from the Val de Marne, France

Post by Pascal Duval »

Hello from the Val de Marne Region, France

The radio equipment i use for dx and very recently acquired is

WinRadio WR 3700e
Fairhaven RD 500

The Sony radio is very simple for use and i have received Germany and Belgium fm useing a fm halo antenne.
The Winradio & Fairhaven i purchased both for 400 euros from a house clearence and are more difficult to understand the functions and what purpose they will both serve for radio. The antennes i use for FM and VHF high is a Korner 9.2 from antennaland and Hirschmann 10 VHF high band i was afraid the antennes will be to big but are actually a smallish good size. I now realise the fm halo is not ideal for such dx practice.

I look forward posting my reports when finally i have the korner antenne outside after the french weather will be less winds.
