Not quite Capital, but Heart is in Dubai, as is Virgin.

More duplicates how depressing. Will there be any music choice on FM soon? They still seem to be playing local adverts though. 102.4 Tx is at the back of my house on a water tower. Its just a relay of 101.6 so when Wenvoe Classic FM 101.7 is strong the 102.4 Burton On Trent relay gets knocked off the air. So at my location its Capital 101.6, 102.2 (Birmingham), 102.4 & 102.8 (Derby) as well as on 4 DAB multiplexes.

Already there’s no music choice on daytime FM in most of the UK.
Radio 3 have decimated late junction and jazz programs so
From having something to listen to 6 nights a week I only have 3 nights now

If the weather is amenable Or I’m in Wales i have late night Radio Na Life or Radio Na Gael’s late programmes

Saturday nights there’s good old reliable on the wire on bbc Radio Lancashire.

In some of the bigger cities there’s interesting Community radio or pirates but in the towns CR just wants to be ILR

Re: DAB
In theory I should like 6 music but apart from Tom Rvenscroft and iggy pop i don’t like the DJs
The best thing I ever heard was when they let Stewart Lee take over from that pompous arse maconie on Sunday evening, it was just so joyful

I used to enjoy marc riley on radio 1 but on 6 music he just sounds like he really can’t be bothered
Rx: Burkhardt Reuter RDR54D1, Elad FDM-S2, Airspy HF+ w/ HS Publications 6 Element R3 -R5 Yagi on rooftop rotator V/H polarization options. Pira P275 RDS analyser

Oh almost the same things happens in the UK like in Hungary.

You can chose from Petőfi (80's-90's-00's-Today Top40) Rádió 1 (00's, Today Top40) Retro (Oldies) Best FM (90's-00's) and Danko (Hungarian folk music).
And almost all local stations are the mixture of Rádió 1, Best FM and Retro.
Only in Budapest and in Székesfehérvár you can hear jazz, lounge on FM band.

Shame.

Sláger 95.8 sounds good as well. The best were Music 89.5 and Rock 95.8...
Probably scanning the band atm. And definitely moaning about the conditions.

Sláger FM is a big mess now... They play almost anything from 1980 to today.
