Band 3 and up always did open more easily than band 2

Re: Cannock Chase Radio

Yes it is odd for a few reasons
If there is ANY overlap in coverage They will have to synchronise 89.8 with 89.6 which is Expensive for a small station
Then as you rightly say Chris, its Co-Channel with Stanton Moor

Unless its going to be an absolutely tiny relay..

Remind me, are they CR or ILR?

Re: UK/IRL pirate stations via Es in Poland

Congratulations

87.8 carrier is “The Rock 92.6”

87.6 might be UCB wicklow if the carrier is very dirty
I noticed them with no audio a couple of times since the pandemic

Thanks
Despite this
Covid related recession will likely force stations to cut transmission costs so may still see some closures

Re: Portuguese FM reception South West Ireland last week (9th July 2020)

Have you worked out the distance to the Azores yet?

What elevation is this hot dx spot?

Using a barbed wire fence as a reflector at band 2, genius!
I wish I’d known that trick in my hilltopping days

Can you upload the original IQ file please?
Also can you invert that image to negative just to see if it’s any more helpful?

Mixing product being created at a tx site or a leaking cable system?

What tx sites were heard at the time?
